About the festival in 2026

What: Festival for families at Ribe Art Museum
Where: In the museum garden and inside the museum
When: Saturday, 15 August 2026, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Price: Free admission. Participation in the various activities is also free.

What to expect:
Art at children’s level, various creative workshops, food and drinks for sale, music, relaxation, and a chance to enjoy time with family and friends.

Program Family Festival 2026

All day on/off

• Watercolor painting with Børneliv in Ribe (local club for families)
• Creative workshops with Ribe Art Museum
• Origami / paper folding art / animals
• Dressing up / costumes
• DJ
• Play in the garden
• Museum treasure hunt

Scheduled activities

• Family yoga
• Children’s bingo
• Creative workshop with the Culture School
• Face painting

Scheduled activities in Danish only, yet feel free to enjoy anyway:-)

• Storytelling and Gnist the Dragon (he is once again ready with great dragon hugs)
• Music quiz
• Sing-along with Silje
• Concert: Morten Musik
• Guided tours in the special exhibition for (half-)adults and for children
